Dicilabas brings a touch of Louisiana to your event. We play tunes from the early jazz era (1920s and 30s), with a swing feel and a hint of carribean vibes. Double bass, guitar, vocals and washboard will make you groove to the sound of the feverish refrains of the bayou. Swing like a runaway train!

We need a performance space of at least 5 meters x 3 meters sheltered from the sun and the rain. We require electric accesses and 1 parking space.
We need to know any directions or practical details that will help us prepare our venue and find the right place to load in our equipment. We need about 1h30 to install and make the soundchecking.
We bring our own PA system to all of our gigs but we don't have lighting equipment.

Duke Ellington, Louis Armstrong and Bessie Smith are major influences for us!
We normally arrive 1h45 before the performance to set up. We normally perform 2 x 50 minutes. We’re happy to play a bit longer or shorter but we’ve found that these set times suit us and our audiences best.
We are happy to play outside but we ask for shade, a flat level surface and a power supply close to the performance area.
If you have a special request, one or two particular songs you'd like to hear, we will be happy to answer your need, as long as it fits to our musical style (jazz standards).
