Dixthree is an acoustic trio formation dedicated to interpreting the themes of the classical jazz and New Orleans repertoire that had its origins at the beginning of the 20th century in the southern United States of America. This music is characterized by the rhythm impregnated by the marching bands and by the harmonies of the songs that were performed in the entertainment venues of the Storyville neighborhood of the city. These three musicians have completed higher music studies in Barcelona and with prestigious instrumentalists in their field and currently belong to different Dixieland and traditional jazz groups in Barcelona as well as other musical formations of the most diverse styles.
They can move to Girona, Tarragona and Lleida as well as to other provinces.
