With more than 35 years experience, former recording artist on Reference Records of San Francisco, guitarist/ vocalist John Sharp, has had a Grammy nomination for his music done by an artist on that same label on the album, "Tropic Affair" a composition of Mr. Sharp's. John does jazz standards, Latin grooves, blues oriented material, and practically all other popular styles as a singer and instrumentalist. The band is usually guitar, bass, drums, and either keyboard or sax. Mr. Sharp's jazz debut of 1993, "Better Than Dreams", is still found on Amazon Music as previously owned copies for sale. Mr. Sharp also performs as a duo or solo act, which can feature light classical guitar pieces... There are many video samples online of John Sharp's music, on You Tube, Rumble, and Vimeo.
