About / Biography

Doinita Folk Ensemble is a traditional dance group from Bucharest that offers dance performances from all the regions of Romania: Oltenia, Muntenia, Dobrogea, Moldova, Transilvania, Bihor, Banat, Maramures.

Our dances are aged between 16 and 30 years old. Each dance is performed in its specific costume.

We also have Hungarian Folk Dance, French Folk Dance, German (sasi) Folk Dance, Gipsy Folk dance in oru repertoire.
