Technical Info

What are your basic technical requirements?

require access to two power outlets and a stable space of at least 10x10 feet to accommodate instruments, keyboards, and equipment. If playback systems using Ableton Live are requested, a secure setup area for computers and controllers is necessary. A load-in area with easy access to the stage is also preferred.

What information do you require about a venue?

It’s important to know if the venue has any sound restrictions or limiters in place to plan accordingly. We also need clear directions for load-in access and the layout of the stage or performance area. If I’m bringing my own setup, I’d like to confirm the availability of parking close to the venue.

Do you provide sound and lighting equipment?

I provide my own keyboards, playback systems, and any essential music equipment. However, I don’t provide full PA or lighting systems. If needed, I can collaborate with the venue’s technical team to integrate my setup with their existing sound systems.

Can you provide a Spotify/DJ service before and between your sets?

Yes, I can offer a Spotify service for background music before and between sets. I’m happy to customize the playlist based on the client’s preferences or take requests to ensure the music fits the vibe of the event.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the best gig you've ever done and the best venue you've ever worked at?

The most memorable gig of my career has to be performing with Andy Grammer on New Year’s Eve in Times Square, right before the ball dropped to ring in 2018. We went on right after Mariah Carey, and the energy was surreal—thousands of people gathered in the heart of New York City, celebrating the New Year. Being part of a show at that scale, with so many moving parts and intense production, really pushed my skills to the next level. From managing live playback systems to ensuring every cue and transition was perfect, it was a moment I’ll never forget. That night in Times Square will always stand out as one of the greatest experiences of my career.

What's your favourite type of event?

My favorite type of event is a combination of live performances and worship settings. I love the blend of inspiring others through music and creating an atmosphere where people can engage, whether it’s through worship, intimate events, or concerts. Weddings and worship nights are particularly special since they both involve bringing people together for something meaningful.

What's your previous experience and how did you start gigging?

I’ve been playing piano for over 20 years, and I started gigging early on, performing at church services, events, and small venues. Over the years, I expanded into music directing, producing, and consulting for both artists and churches. From leading worship teams to running playback systems, I’ve grown to work across multiple areas of music, including live shows and studio production.

Which artists have you been most influenced by, who is your favourite artist and what is the greatest song of all time?

I’ve been deeply influenced by artists like Stevie Wonder for his musicianship and versatility, and Kirk Franklin for his ability to blend gospel with contemporary styles. My favorite artist is probably John Legend—his piano-driven songs and soulful vibe resonate with me. As for the greatest song of all time, I’d say ‘Isn’t She Lovely’ by Stevie Wonder—it’s timeless and always brings joy to audiences.

Performance Info

What are your typical setup and performance times?

I typically arrive 1.5 to 2 hours before the event to set up and ensure everything is running smoothly, especially if I’m incorporating playback systems or keyboards. My standard performances are either 2 x 45-minute sets or 2 x 60-minute sets, but I’m flexible and can adjust based on the flow of the event and what the client needs.

Are you happy to perform outside?

Absolutely! I’m happy to perform outdoors as long as there’s a covered or shaded area to protect equipment, along with access to a power supply near the performance space. A flat, stable surface for setup also ensures everything runs safely and smoothly.

Do the clients have a say in what you play or is it a set repertoire list only?

I’m happy to work with clients to customize the music for their event. I can learn up to 3-5 specific songs if requested in advance, and I also offer suggestions from my repertoire. Whether it’s worship sets, pop covers, or custom arrangements, I love collaborating to create the perfect set for the occasion.

How do previous clients most commonly describe your performances?

Clients often describe my performances as engaging, versatile, and professional. They appreciate the mix of musicality and energy I bring, whether it’s a worship service, live event, or intimate setting. Many have highlighted my ability to connect with the audience and create meaningful moments through music.

What makes your performances unique?

I combine over 20 years of experience in live performance, music direction, and production to create an immersive musical experience. Whether I’m performing solo, leading a worship service, or supporting an event with playback systems, I focus on making every performance engaging and seamless. My ability to adapt on the fly ensures that every set is tailored to the audience and event atmosphere.

Can you provide music direction or playback support for events?

Yes! In addition to performing, I specialize in music direction and live playback systems using Ableton Live. I work with churches, artists, and bands to design smooth, reliable performances and can help with anything from rehearsals to on-stage execution. If you need expert support for a worship service or a professional gig, I’ve got you covered.

How do you handle special requests from clients?

I love collaborating with clients to bring their vision to life. If you have specific songs or musical arrangements you’d like, I can incorporate them into the set just let me know in advance. I aim to be as flexible as possible to ensure the music aligns perfectly with your event’s vibe and makes it truly special.
