I play most styles of music; popular music, bluegrass, rock, blues, and jazz. And, I play for all occasions; everything from resort dinner crowds, wedding receptions, to breweries, bars, and clubs. My style as a solo musician integrates soulful singer songwriter vocals, harmonica, and upbeat acoustic guitar playing, with a loop station to allow rhythms and soloing, and alternating with a blues slide dobro. My style is diverse and I play to the crowd.
When you walk into the event space, you will feel a contagious rhythm in your step and will be compelled to sing along, hooked by familiar songs and and melodies being enthusiastically brought to life.
If I am hired to play your wedding ceremony or cocktail hour, I will serenade your guests, providing a festive tone of intimate and romantic music.
If you want to turn the party up a few notches, I have an array of catchy upbeat tunes designed for the occasion that everyone will be moving to. The sounds of soulful vocals, rhythmic chord phrasing, tasteful and impressive guitar solo's over a loop station, and harmonica vamping melodic rhythms will have guests dazzled and moving. And most important, my performance will help bring people together for the occasion and foster the creation of wonderful memories.

When I can load in. Where I load in. Where to park so that I don't get ticketed. Is there a sound curfew? A small food tab. How do you prefer to pay performers?
I provide all sound but as a solo musician, I don't bring lighting, except what I use for my music stand.
I typically play through my 3 hour sets but if you request that I break, and let ears rest, I can have an Apple Music set list.
The best events are Weddings, Corporate events, Non-Profit events, and Private parties. I haven't had a bad one. I enjoyed playing at the House of Blues. They were very professional. I also have enjoyed playing at the Kiawah Island events.
I enjoy playing all types of events and my favorite type of events are weddings, corporate events, non-profit, and private parties. Each event has its own festive dynamic!
I've been playing and performing live music since I was 15 years old. Since then, I've played thousands of gigs with many different types of bands, and as a solo entertainer. I enjoy playing solo, because it is efficient and I am able to keep things energetic. I am also very versatile as a musician and play everything from jazz, to bluegrass, to blues, to top 40 popular music.
Too numerous to say, but I enjoy different artist for different reasons. I appreciate Tom Petty for his songwriting, Chris Stapleton for his soulful vocals. I like Neil Young for his simple and melodic songwriting and harmonica accompaniment (which I use), I like Marvin Gaye and Al Green for their soulful vocals. I like Django Reinhardt for his gypsy jazz swing style of lead guitar playing. I like Ray La Montagne as a songwriter who features a subtle power in his vocal style. And, I am a very big Allman Bros. fan because of their incorporation of blues, jazz, and country into southern rock and roll.
