Driftsands Combination (DC) is a rising musical force emerging from the heart of Driftsands, a vibrant community in one part of Delft, Cape Town.
Formed in 2023, the group brings together the talents of four dynamic artists:
SlindimaneDc (Silindokuhle Zisiwe): A captivating vocalist, producer and songwriter who adds depth and texture to DC's music, making it come alive.
UNSEEN (Sinethemba Plaatjie): A melodic Trap Vocalist, songwriter bringing the commercial touch into Dc’s music.
AC3 (Anele Gese): A lyrical maestro, vocalist, songwriter weaving thought-provoking verses that resonate with the realities of their experiences.
Mkero (Zuko Zisiwe): Vocalist, songwriter who injects raw emotion and storytelling into DC's music. Crafting unique soundscapes that blend genres and push boundaries.
Despite their recent formation, DC has been prolific, releasing a staggering 6 albums in a single year. Their dedication to their craft is evident in the constant stream of fresh music they deliver.

DC's sound is a melting pot of influences, drawing from hip-hop, trap, soul, rnb, and the rich cultural tapestry of South Africa. Their music is both introspective and energetic, captivating listeners with its honesty and raw talent.

We need a performance space that can fit 4+ people at once, and every person to have their own Microphone if possible. Strong sound system as we will be playing some high energy music at times

No, we do not provide any sound or lighting equipment, we only work with what the event organisers have
Yes, we can provide Spotify services, that’s actually a norm for us as we believe it helps us engage with our audience and build more fanbase for us
We’ve performed in several local event, clubs and theatres but we haven’t had a huge event like festivals
Festival even though we haven’t had the chance to, but that is our main goal
We started gigging 4 years back by going to places and doing walk-ins looking for opportunities to get gigs
We are a group of 4 artists with different influences but Musically we’ve all been influenced by one person and that is Kanye West ‘Ye’
Usually we perform at events with a ready set up which is basically anything that can play the music we perform. We don’t use physical instruments. We are a group that is always ready and available to work at all times, depending on our schedule.
We are more than happy as that is what we’ve been doing always
Clients are more than welcome to say what we play but only within our own catalog or original music
We’ve been told that we bring out a very different and fresh energy and we bring life and Colour to our surroundings
