Electricity, the ultimate OMD (Orchestral Manoeuvres in the Dark) tribute band, where we bring the timeless synth-pop hits of the legendary British band to life.
Whether you’re a die-hard fan of OMD or new to their pioneering electronic sound, Electricity delivers an electrifying live experience that captures the essence of the synth-pop band from the 80s right up to date!
Authentic Sound: We meticulously reproduce OMD's distinct sound, using vintage synthesizers sounds, drum machines, and other period-specific equipment to capture the essence of the band's pioneering work.
Song Performances: Our live shows are a tribute to OMD's legendary concerts, combining high-energy performances with stunning visuals that transport audiences back to the 1980s and beyond. We play all the classic hits as well as songs from latest albums for the true fans.
Live Performances: If you are an individual booker, we can carry a 6K P.A rig including lighting, which would be comfortable for 200 - 600 people venue, all insured and p.a.t tested.
Passionate Musicians: Every member of our band is a devoted OMD fan, bringing a deep understanding of the music and a genuine love for the craft to each performance. We are not just musicians; we are curators of a legacy.

We need a performance space of at least 7 meters x 5 meters, without including P.A . We require 5 x 13 amp power sockets and 3 parking spaces, and dressing room area with mirror

We have performed at multiple venues, including clubs, theatres and festivals, supporting Chesney Hawkes of tour, and working with Nik Kershaw, Go West, ABC, and many other 80s artists on different festivals

OMD
We normally arrive 2/3 hours before the performance to set up. We normally perform 2 x 45 minutes or 1 x 1 Hr and 30 mins. We’re happy to play shorter set if required, depending on the event, but we’ve found that these set times suit us and our audiences best."
We’re happy to play outside but in a marquee, a flat level surface and a power supply close to the performance area
As a OMD tribute band we play all the songs you would expect, but for special requirements we can will play any of OMD's released songs
We have lots of different comments from audiences around the UK and Europe, fantastic! seems to be the popular one!
We either perform 2 x 45mins sets or 1x 1hour and 30 mins set, on festivals this normally is restricted to 1 x 1hour set
