Evangeline Victoria (better known as Evie) is an award-winning violinist and entertainer with over 21 years of experience. A graduate of the prestigious Melbourne Conservatorium of Music, she has cultivated an extraordinary career, performing and improvising across a vast spectrum of musical genres with a repertoire that spans modern and classical styles.
Evie's diverse career has taken her across Australia and Europe, where she has serenaded at countless weddings and events, bringing her unique touch to each performance. Her experience also extends to performing in music theatre and opera productions throughout Victoria, and working as a violinist and education mentor with Orchestra Victoria. She has collaborated with world-class creatives from the National Institute of Circus Arts and Cirque Du Soleil, and has shared the stage with renowned artists such as Damien Leith, Conrad Sewell, Kygo, and Tiesto.
In addition to these achievements, Evie is widely recognized for her viral performances with the A-League's Melbourne Victory team and the AFL's Carlton Football Club.
Her true passion lies in live performance, particularly in the wedding and event space. Inspired by the joy and connection music fosters, Evie's mission with her brand, Evangeline Victoria Music, is to redefine the role of the violin. She seeks to elevate live performances by delivering moments of magic, ensuring that each occasion is infused with unmatched quality, connection, and passion.

A PA system capable of handling high-quality audio output for live performances is required. The PA system should be connected to a channeled mixer that provides EQ leveling to ensure optimal sound balance. And reverb capabilities to enhance the violin’s acoustic resonance during the performance.
A sound system capable of playing backing tracks from a USB drive or playback device will be needed for the performance.

I do not provide lighting equipment. If lighting is required, it would need to be arranged through the venue or a professional lighting supplier. I can liaise with the supplier to ensure it complements my performance.

The best gig I’ve ever done was performing for Melbourne Victory at AAMI Park. Playing in front of 20,000 passionate fans in such an electric atmosphere was unforgettable. Hearing the crowd chant along with my music was surreal, and walking onto the field before the performance felt like stepping into a dream.
The sheer scale of the venue, bigger than anything I’d experienced before, added to the magic. What made it truly special was seeing how music can unite and energise so many people.
This performance also marked a turning point in my career. It went viral, gaining global recognition for my work and brand. To this day, people from across the world know me and my music because of that moment.

Weddings are my absolute favourite events to perform at. The emotional atmosphere and personal connection make them incredibly special. One of my favourite moments is when the couple sees each other for the first time during the ceremony—it's such a raw, beautiful expression of love, no matter who they are or who they love.

I started playing the violin at age 7, but music has always been a big part of my life, thanks to my musical family. Growing up, I was surrounded by inspiration and opportunities, performing regularly throughout school and university in both amateur and professional settings. These experiences shaped my passion for live music and performance.
My first paid gig was playing in a community theatre musical, and from there, my career blossomed. I’ve had the privilege of working with many incredible artists and ensembles, and even my teachers played a huge role in influencing my journey and shaping my performance style.
Some of the standout milestones in my career include studying at the Melbourne Conservatorium of Music, starting my own music business, and winning Best Wedding Instrumental with the Australian Bridal Industry Academy.
These experiences have been pivotal in defining my path as a violinist and building the fulfilling career I enjoy today.
Hans Zimmer has been one of my biggest influences as an artist. His ability to evoke deep emotions through cinematic music is something I truly admire and strive to emulate in my own performances. The way he blends orchestral and electronic elements to create powerful, immersive experiences has profoundly shaped my approach to music.
I arrive 1 hour before the performance to set up and conduct a sound check, ensuring everything is perfectly tuned for the event. For my performance times:
For 2-hour bookings, I play a 45-minute set per hour.
For bookings of 3 or more hours, I play 35-minute sets per hour to maintain energy and performance quality.
This schedule allows me to deliver a seamless and high-quality musical experience tailored to your event.
I am happy to play outside but ask for shade and protection from any rain or sun.
I offer unlimited song selections from my extensive repertoire list, giving you the freedom to choose the music that best fits your event. Additionally, I include 3 special song requests that aren’t on my list, which I’ll prepare specifically for your occasion.
