Fakeer is a trained jazz guitarist having formally learnt at the Jazz conservatorium in Maastricht, Netherlands and Swarabhoomi Academy of Music, India. Fakeer performs as the Frontman of the band Fakeer and. the Arc. A Bangalore based band that blends jazz and hip-hop to create a unique sound and vibe. Their first album, "Ikigai" was awarded "the best debut band of 2020" by The Indian Music Diaries. Fakeer has also released a solo EP, "Privileged and ignorant" an album composed during the Lockdown which has elements of chill-hop, conscience rap and transcending into an experimental territory.
