The Family Singers Vocal Ensemble was founded in 2013.
The composition of members is unique in the international classical music world: all members are from one family: six siblings between 11 and 23 years of age and their parents.
Our purpose is to promote the miracle of singing and music (that we owe so much including our family itself) to people. With each passing year we strive to sing more and more beautiful compositions with a higher quality of performance. Our mission is to contribute to the distribution of Zoltán Kodály’s spiritual heritage, his musical education method, and to promote it Worldwide.
We perform our concerts a cappella, without any musical accompaniment or technical background.
Our repertoire is constantly expanding: classical pieces from all ages, folksong-arrangements, gospels, musical adaptations, pop-, rock- and film music. We often compose our own arrangements.
During the years passed we have sung in several festivals in many countries of Europe: Czech Republic, Hungary, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Malta, Poland, Rumania, Sweden.
International choral contests brought us a lot of awards, including category-winnings, numorous Special Prizes, Golden Awards and Grand Prize.
Performed on weddings, festivals, opening ceremonies, church services.
We can learn to sing in all Europen languages in a short time, till now we have sung in Czech, English, German, French, Hungarian, Italian, Latin, Spanish, Swedish, Russian.
Since we are one family, accomodation and the logistic solutions are very simple and cheap, within 1000 miles we can travel by own minibus.
