About Fatayumi Zilan

Fatayumi is an Oriental Dancer and Teacher, thanks to the years spent in the Middle East countries such as Kurdistan, Turkey, Iraq and Afghanistan, she specializes in Kurdish dances including Delilo, Dapke, Shemame, Bagiye, as well as other traditional Kurmaji dances, Attan (traditional Afghan dance) and Khaliji (hair dance from the Gulf - South Iraq).

Fatayumi has created the dance of the 4 elements, a fusion of oriental dances aimed at liberating inner energies and harmonizing with nature through movement, reaching a point of contact with it and with oneself, which is the basis of dance and life itself. The 4 natural elements: air, water, earth and fire, are expressed with different dance styles and music and each element will be characterized by the use of tools that invoke energy, giving even more the sense of belonging to the element itself.

Besides the Oriental dance, Fatayumi has also specialized in other dance styles such as oriental fusion dances, tribal dances, bollywood dance, indigenous dances of the Ecuador, salsa, folk dances of southern Italy, dancehall reggae and dubstep.
