"Figgy Sax ", is Houston's hottest saxophonist and Latin Singer sensation!!! He is the choice for all events, weddings receptions, cocktail hours, corporate and private events and a RS Berkeley instruments endorser artist.

He is well known for its professionalism on and off the stage. All performances come with an attention to detail. And when performing as a soloist or duo, we simply shine on the stage. Every performance brings excellent music, and a high quality, well-rounded sound. He puts on a signature stamp on every performance.

For me, the journey began in Puerto Rico, where I was born. Percussion instruments were an early inspiration, as young I learned rhythms in the Puerto Rican and Cuban tradition. I turned to the saxophone at the age of 12 and grew up listening to a variety of music, the earliest of which included: Afro-Caribbean, European and jazz.

I have performed with such notables groups such as The Temptations, The Four Tops, Jimmy Smith and Vital Information, (past Journey drummer) among others.

After playing for a while with local salsa and jazz bands I decided to look for different horizons and joined the US Army bands field, where I served for over 20 years and played all over the world including South Korea, Japan and many other countries. After retiring from the US Army I decided to move to Houston Texas where I made it my home.

Now I'm going go solo/duo where I play jazz, ballads, smooth jazz and Latin music with alto, tenor, and soprano sax. I also play with Bulbo Houston, one of the most versatile groups in Texas where We play any type of events including weddings, anniversaries, birthdays and cocktail hours.
