We require a space approx. 6.5 meters wide x 3.5 meters deep. We will always try and fit in with whatever space has been allocated, but this can mean reducing the equipment we use which can compromise the sound & lighting.
We need a least three separate 13 amp sockets wired separate to the supply and capable of delivering a total of 39 amps. Power supplies for outdoor venues need to be properly weatherproofed and connected via earth leakage circuit breakers (RCDs). The power outlet sockets need to be a maximum distance of 3 meter's from the stage area.

We need to know any directions that will help us find the venue and find the right place to load in our equipment. We’d also need to be informed if there’s a sound limiter in the venue.
We would also like to understand how the event is working, so we can work out the best time to arrive and set-up without rushing the client or ourselves.

Yes, we’re completely self contained. We bring our own PA system to all of our gigs as well as a simple lighting rig.

Yes, we’re happy to play music from Spotify before, after and between our sets. We’re happy to choose the music ourselves or let the client choose the music.

We have been asked to play at Salisbury Guildhall 3 years running now for their annual Holly Ball at the end of November. The venue is so historic, has great acoustics and the audience always has a great time.

We genuinely enjoy any type of event, we all just enjoying playing and entertaining our guests. I think that weddings are our favourite as everyone is always happy and loves to get up and dance!

We all have played in different live bands for years, covering soul, pop, rock and motown bands. Our vocalist Charlene and drummer Trev have worked together for nearly 20 years now. Firestar was formed just before Covid in 2020 and the current line up has been playing together since just after.

There's so many great artists to choose from! From the pop genius of Michael Jackson, through to David Bowie, Dua Lipa, Prince, Bruno Mars, Amy Winehouse to Luther Vandross, Chic and even Alanis Morrissette, we love incorporating all dancefloor hits into our sets

We require at least 2 hours to arrive, unload, set up and sound check.
Our performances last around 2 - 2.5 hours, normally 2x60/75 mins but we can play in whatever way you like

We’re happy to play outside but we ask for shade, a waterproof marquee, a flat level surface and a power supply close to the performance area.

We can cater for 1-2 requests, as long as we have at least 2-3 months notice, and that those songs fit into our set. We find that our experience means we can "read the room" and choose appropriate songs for the night
