Created in 2002, the instrumental jazz duet Franck et Juliette is the meeting of two musicians, the violinist Thomas Couron and the guitarist Coralie Delaune.
It is above all the pleasure of playing together which brought these two artists together. Very quickly, a complicity just as although musical and friendly appeared.
Jazz, free, improvised music, was a natural choice. They have decided to vary the styles of jazz while always having a requirement for the choice of themes.
So they went through swing, bebop, bossa nova and ended up integrating tunes from revisited French songs which allow a proximity with the audience.
In 2022 they create the Frank et Juliette Quartet with Mathieu Delaune (bass) and Fabien Tisserant (drum) and 2 years later in 2024 is created the Franck et Juliette Jazz Trio with Thomas Couron, Coralie Delaune and Mathieu Delaune (double bass).
We need a performance space of at least 2 meters X 3 meters (duet), 3 meters X 3 meters (Trio) and 5 meters X 4 meters (Quartet), one power socket, 2 or 3 armless chairs and water

We started gigging whilst at mjc Evreux (France) and our performances developed from there. Since we started we’ve performed at hundreds of weddings, parties and events across the France and beyond."

We arrive 30 minutes or 1 h before and we perform 90 minutes or 2 X 45 minutes. We’re happy to play a bit longer or shorter but we’ve found that these set times suit us and our audiences best.
We’re happy to play outside but we ask for shade, a flat level surface and a power supply close to the performance area.
We can learn specific songs before the event but we had to be informed 6 month before. The clients are welcome to pick a set list from our repertoire or let us choose the music for them.
