FRED KARATO
FRED KARATO aka "CRAZY SAX" was born in Sète, France of Italian origin. He is has now become one of the most demanded saxophonists in the largest and most prestigious Parisian clubs and on the international electro scene. Karato got us used to his covers of the legendary Brassens songs where he delivered high quality musical and proved the extent of his talent to deliver a personal instrumental touch.
"Crazy Sax" searches for new inspirations in contemporary music with an endless imagination. He accomplished the great challenge of integrating his poetic instrument with the spellbinding electronic music at the time when technology invades the musical sphere. Karato adapts his instrumental language to contemporary influences when he renews classical songs with a personal touch and brings the original and authentic sound to the current rhythm of techno music.
He is requested by many artists and DJs and is always available to innovate. He will always move further in his musical meetings and experiences. He has worked with DJs like
Laurent Wolf, Antoine Clamaran, DJ Greg B, DJ Ron Costa, Soundshakerz, the New York singer Jonny Rose and many others.
2003 - Meeting famous Dj and producer Laurent Wolf later became his saxophonist.
2007 - Foundation of its own music label "Redsax Records" and released several club tracks like "Kamandi Sax". 2008 - Collaboration with Dj Ron Costa on a new track called "Atomik Sax". 2009 - Co-production of "I wanna be free" with 1LFF group consisting of Quebec. 2010 - Remixes of "I wanna be free" including a version of collective Soundshakerz. 2011 - His club version of "The First Mates" (HapyMusic), becomes No. 5th, 3rd and 2nd best sellers on the net. He co-produce a musical entitled "It's yours this evening Brassens" (Paris). 2012 - Collaboration with the New Yorker singer "Jonny Rose" on the single "When You're Gone" (Heben - Warner Music). He also officiates on national radio "Fun Radio" in issuing Karel antenna. 2013 - Production of music tour "The village center dance tour", with DJ's, musicians, international performers, pyrotechnics robots, fire-eaters...
2014 - Second edition of "The Village Center Dance Tour" with new national media partnerships. 2015 - Release of the cover of the "Dim" commercial music "One night of romance" by Lalo Shiffrin.
2016 - Musical with french tv star Nelson Monfort "Brassens en Fête" in Paris Apollo theatre with huge national TV promotion.
2017 - Release of the single "Saxo Loco" (Tunecore France, featuring the famous DJ Antoine Clamaran. 2018 - Release of the single "Tzigano", Top 10 in all electro club charts : Hit des Clubs NRJ, FUN Club 40 Yacast, Extra Clubs Electro. 2019 - Release of the single "No Comment" Featuring the American female singer Julia Ross, co-produced with Vince M.
