Hi,
here is Funky Town, a well known sought after band in North East of Italy for our shows called “Soul Train Night” where we play fully live in 7tet/8tet an absolutely outstanding show putting together covers and original tracks of Rhythm ‘n Blues, Soul e Funk in the 60s-70s style tracking down the history of labels such as Motown, Stax and Atlantic.
In order to do this we have great afro-american style singers, elegant and vibrant horns’ section, a pulsating rhythm section, a good stage presence, our international experience and a fantastic repertoire that make audience enjoy and party !
In 2016 we have published our debut CD “Soul Train Night”, containing an original single hit “The Name of My Town” whose video is available on Youtube.
More R’nB, Funk and Soul original material has already been prepared for a second album and tour.
