The band members are professional, talented and fun and know how to create the perfect atmosphere throughout the night. Their experience and their quick and easy set-up make them the ideal choice for any occasion.
The band plays a customisable line up of instruments that can include a guitar, clarinet, violin and double bass.
As experienced musicians, the Gajè Gipsy Swing regularly perform across Italy and Europe and will be more than happy to travel to you and your event.
In the slower moments, the band will provide a warm and romantic atmosphere with their enchanting renditions of jazz classics and ballads.
Towards the end of the night, The Italy Gypsy Band can bring the swinging and engaging rhythms of the double bass, guitar and violin for a more uptempo atmosphere!

We need a small performance space of 3x3 meters. We require a power socket nearby, a couple of chairs, a place in the shade and a parking space.
We need the venue adress and time and place to load in our equipment
We bring our own amplification for sound, but we do not have a lighting rig
Yes, we’re happy to play music from Spotify before, after and between our sets. We have our own personally curated playlist
In our ten years experience as a band we played in a lot of jazz club and jazz festivals such as Crossroads, Bologna Jazz, Cremona Jazz, Barga Jazz
We love playing at all sorts of events but weddings are our favourite! The guests are always happy to listen to us during the cocktail hour.
We started gigging whilst at conservatory and our performances developed from there. Since we started we’ve performed at hundreds of weddings, venues and festivals across Italy and beyond
How not to mention Django Renihardt, the one who started it all, but also Birelli Lagrene, Josho Stephan, Tchavolo Smidth and many more!
We really enjoy playing in trio formation, either with clarinet or violin, beacause it the perfect fit for an intimate event and for also a bigger crowd
We normally arrive 1 hour before the performance to set up, it takes usually 15 minutes but we like to arrive up in advance. We normally perform sets of 45 minuts with a break inbetween. We’re happy to play a bit longer or shorter but we’ve found that these set times suit us and our audiences best.
We’re happy to play outside but we ask for shade, a flat level surface and a power supply close to the performance area
