“Groova” are a Lisbon (Portugal) musical trio composed of drums, keys and sax, and can also be performed as a quartet (when required) increasing this way the performance quality and customer choice 😉.
With our own talent we play a varied repertoire and with our own arrangements between pop, funk and soul musical genres, with the main objective for the public to feel good, happy and fun, thus enjoying good music live.
Presentation - Experienced musicians who, after having spent years playing with some national artists (such as Rita Guerra, Beto, Mercúrioucromos, Agata, Rui Bandeira, Jimba, Trio Los Quatro, Solaris, Marco Paulo, Bonga, Jorge Palma, Dino D' Santiago, LosTomatos, Mercado Negro, Peste e Sida, etc.) and in original and cover projects across the country, Ricardo Pinto (voice and keys), João Caleia (Drums) and Luís Silva (Sax), decided to create a project with a varied repertoire of commercially known themes but with their own arrangements between pop, funk and soul musical genres, and not restricting ourselves to a single artist (aka Tributes).
Among other places where we already performed, we highlight the Casino do Estoril, Casino de Lisboa, HardRock Café Lisboa, local parties, cooperative and private parties.
