About / Biography

Hello! I am Nícolàs! I am a Rumba Flamenco Gypsy guitarist. I have performed all over the states in various venues from small coffee shops to amphitheaters. I have quite a few different shows to offer depending on the event. I can provide a solo or duo performance with just to guitars. A full band for more upbeat and interesting show. Then the R.O.M.A. Performance which is a theater show. Including educational elements and workshopping. I lead the band and will make sure to do my best to provide the most for your event and make it a night to remember.

Technical Info

What are your basic technical requirements?

Minimum 5x8 space and up depending on size of band requested. Can provide own sound or use house sound. Will need access to electricity.


What information do you require about a venue?

Space for band. Electrical access. Size of venue. The mood for the event. Restrictions.


Do you provide sound and lighting equipment?

Can be self contained with sound and lighting or access house sound as well. Up to the employer.


Can you provide a Spotify/DJ service before and between your sets?

Yes can provide Spotify

What is the best gig you've ever done and the best venue you've ever worked at?

Recently played out a sold out show at the Getty Museum in San Diego. Highly educational and fun show. Very interactive.


What's your favourite type of event?

Lively and interactive show. Love communicating with the crowd


What's your previous experience and how did you start gigging?

I have been gigging since the age of 13. Over 20 years of experience. Many local shows and weddings and theaters as well


Which artists have you been most influenced by, who is your favourite artist and what is the greatest song of all time?

Gipsy Kings are a big influence to the style as well as close friends. My style has been heavily influenced by them and old school Gypsy music. Greatest song of all time is impossible. Too many to choose from.

Performance Info

What are your typical setup and performance times?

Setup depends on size of the band. But typically it will be at least an hour before event for a small solo or duo setup and 2 hours for a full band setup. gigs usually go from 2 hours to 3 hours with one break in between (15 minutes per hour).


Are you happy to perform outside?

Of course outside is no problem. But appropriate coverage for sun and rain


Do the clients have a say in what you play or is it a set repertoire list only?

I will always try my best to play what the client likes or requests as long as it’s in my limits.


How do previous clients most commonly describe your performances?

Very positive responses to performances always. Returning customers and fans are the norm. Always described as very professional and upbeat. Dancing and fun.


Band size

Band size depends entirely on the client. Can go from a solo guitarist with looping and backing tracks all the way up to a seven piece band which includes two to three guitars, two percussions, bass, keys, and strings.
