As a South Florida Harpist performing from Miami to West Palm Beach, I provide an elegant ambiance for your corporate and social events including wedding ceremonies. Drawing on my past experience as full-time harpist at the Ritz-Carlton Palm Beach and on Celebrity Cruises, and having played for 3 US Presidents, and numerous international dignitaries, I seek to make your event unforgettable.
I have an extensive repertoire of music, so whether you would like Classical, Broadway, Standards, Current Pop, or a mixture of styles, the music is sure to delight your guests. And of course Harp Duo is extremely rare. My associate is also a harpist; we have so much fun performing together for events. Thinking about a String Trio? I definitely can provide that for your larger events. And very unique in the music world, I have a Jazz Band. You probably have never seen a harp in a Jazz Band! It makes for a very enetertaining evening. I look forward to working closely with you to assist you in making your special event all that you have envisioned.

It depend on whether it is solo harp, trio, or band.
We need to know any directions that will help us find the venue and find the right place to unload in our equipment.
We provide sound up to 150 people. More than that we would need to be connected to house system or system provided by DJ or band.
We can provide music in between sets.
Wow! This is quite a question! The best gig I have ever done was to be chosen as the only entertainment for a G7 Economic Summit, a reception for all the World Leaders' Spouses., including Hillary Rodham Clinton.
The best venue...so many incredible venues...but I would say the best was performing full-time in Celebrity Cruises ship going from country to country in the Mediterranean, usually in the fine dining restaurant, but one evening up on top deck as we were leaving Venice. What a setting...Venice and sunset!
I love the variety of events, no two alike. But I do especially love weddings and assisting couples in personalizing the music to exactly what they would like and as a reflection of the two of them on the most special day.
I really started performing at a 4-Diamond Resort Hotel full-time in the 1000 Islands New York seasonally. When I moved to South Florida I became full-time harpist at the Ritz-Carlton Palm Beach for a number of years, freelancing on the side as time permitted. Since then I have been full-time freelancing throughout the South Florida region, from Miami to West Palm Beach, with some short term contracts on Celebrity Cruises in the Mediterranean and around South America. I have performed for literally 1000s of events, corporate and social, including weddings. But each one is very special to me.
I normally arrive at least 1 hour before performance time to set up and be ready half hour before start just in case some guests arrive early. I usually play for 2 hours-ceremony and cocktail hour- for weddings, often one hour cocktail hour for corporate events, and often 3-4 hours for private events or dinners. I really don't take a break when it is the 2 hours for a wedding, just the time to move to a second location if needed. If it is 2+ hours for other events, I usually only take a 5 minutes break, just enough to stretch and start playing again. I am there for the client and his/her guests.
I do perform outside as long as it is not too hot or inclement, or potential rain, but there does need to be shade, a flat surface, and a power supply.
They absolutely have a say in what I play! I have over 2500 songs in my repertoire, but there are literally millions of songs out there. I have extensive set lists, depending on the genre(s)that the client wants to have, for them to choose from. They are welcome to choose i complimentary song that is not in my repertoire, After that they may choose up to 2 others, but there would be a minimal charge to purchase the sheet music and for the time to learn the songs. Most clients find plenty to choose from from my setlists, and then let me choose others similar to the ones that they have chosen. I find it is very important for them to also let me know any songs that they DON'T want played as well.
Virtually every time they say that it is exactly what they wanted, it created the right elegant ambiance, that their guests raved about it, and loved that they recognized virtually all of the songs that I played. They loved that it was loud enough to set the mood, but not so loud that they couldn't carry on a conversation, or had to shout to be heard over the music.
