HiFi Driveby Superb 5 piece party/dance band playing funk, soul, disco and contemporary

Hi Fi Drive By are the midlands premier party band. A 5-piece supergroup of semi-professional musicians who specialise in delivering a diverse range of tunes for any occasion with a setlist designed to fill the dance floor and keep people there. We cater for nearly every taste and our shows include everything from modern dance music to classic funk and soul tracks.

With a collective 1000 years of live music experience (900 of which comes from our drummer) we know that weddings and corporate functions attract people with a diverse taste in music which is why our eclectic set list has something for everyone. From the Kings of Leon to Chic, Take That to the Godfather of Soul James Brown.

One thing we guarantee is that our high energy set list will leave your guests shouting for more at the end of the night. And when your guests dance, so will we. Our state of the art PA uses wireless technology which leaves our guitarists free to roam the dance floor and work the crowd into a frenzy.

We don't use backing tracks, and while we use a couple of samples during our set

Because:

a) none of us can sound like a Police siren

and

b) because the ‘Doh’…. ‘Doh’,’Doh’,’Doh”… bit on Uptown Funk needs an old-skool basso-profundo vocalist!

Everything else you hear is live. The 3 recordings we included on the page are all our own work!

We will work with you to craft our setlist to your event and if it’s a wedding we'd be happy to learn your first dance song so all you need to worry about is grabbing your partner tightly and celebrating your union to the sound of an amazingly tight 5 piece band, watched by your friends and family. Unless your first dance happens to be speed metal, we might struggle to do that! (that’s where backing music comes in)

As for the boring admin type stuff, all our equipment is fully PAT Tested and this includes our smoke machine, snow machine, lasers and lighting rig and we have full public liability insurance plus our drummer has had all his vaccinations so your venue is guaranteed to accept us.
