The Houserent Serenaders are a true 1920’s era hot jazz band. They play the music of the great washboard bands like the Georgia Washboard Stompers, The Washboard Rhythm Kings, and Clarence Williams; 1920’s big bands like Bennie Moten, Luis Russell, and Tiny Parham; and vocalists like Ikey Robinson, Cliff Edwards, and Fats Waller. The band doesn’t simply recreate the music of the jazz age, they bring it back to life, injecting it with the energy and excitement that it deserves.
The Band is available in formats of 2 up to 8 musicians depending on your needs. We are the perfect addition to your next cocktail party or Gatsby-era themed event.
