My name is Hugo Kurstjens, and I'm a 20-year-old Rotterdam-based bassplayer. In my musical career I have played almost every genre you can imagine, from metal to jazz to even classical. I mainly play the electric bassguitar, but I'm definitely able to pick up the double bass when needed.
I have played in many bands, also as a stand-in, so if you need a substitute bassist, I'm your man! I read sheet music on sight, when needed.
In some of the projects I play in I play original material, but I have years of experience playing in coverbands as well, with a slight preference for funk and soul. Nonetheless, I also have my own metalband, so any metal/rock related music is just as cool for me!
