I arrive at the venue in advance (depending on the location and type of show), at least 30 minutes before the performance, and I’m ready to perform by that time.
For lounge music, I usually play for 1 to 2 hours.
For a dance party with a DJ, I perform in shorter segments. If the total performance time is 1 hour, I do two 20-minute sets. If it’s 2 hours, I adjust based on the situation, but typically do 3 to 4 sets of 15 to 20 minutes each.
