In The Mood was formed in 2009 by Sasho Gjorgjevski and Nikola Jimmie Petrovski. The duo's concept is a performance of blues/rock and roll classics with harmonica, acoustic guitar, and vocals.
With over 3,000 concerts in Macedonia and the Balkans, our first original songs finally came alive in 2022. The debut album will be called Breeding Ground for Blues.
The EP version is now available on all digital platforms from YouTube, Spotify, apple music, etc...
Why blues? Well, it's music that we have heard since we were young. It got into our ears and our hearts and stayed there. It's honest and always tells a story, and most opinions aside, it's fun music and can cheer you up.
We play the covers in our style, with a more intense, sometimes faster tempo. We try to sound Big, covering multiple elements with only two instruments. We are trying to capture the image of a whole band with just the guitar and the harmonica.
We performed at the Skopje Blues & Soul Festival, Cotton Blues Festival in Skopje, Jazz Festival in Tirana, and the Trilj Festival in Croatia on the same night as Robben Ford.
At the Cotton blues festival in Skopje, we were the backup band for Muddy Waters' son, Mad Morganfield. Abroad, all our performances in clubs and bars throughout Belgrade, Sofia, Tirana, Pristina, etc.
For inspiration, we have thoroughly combed the classic blues scene, from the delta blues, Chicago scene, Texas, etc. Son House, Robert Johnson, Blind Lemon, Skip James, Bukka White, JB Lenoir, Muddy Waters, Howling Wolf, Buddy Guy, Jimi Hendrix, Clapton... The list of influences is long. We take something from all these names and play their songs in our performances.

- Mic and a mic stand.
Performance is 2 sets. Each set is an hour.
We set up pretty quickly, about 20 minutes, including sound check.
