Before your entrance, I will be there, your Celebrant, standing by the wedding arch—making sure that everything is perfectly set for you as bride and groom, as well as for all your guests. May this day be wonderful and unforgettable.
I will read the ceremony script for you, in front of your witnesses, family, and friends. Every word has been carefully written and agreed upon with you over the past months to celebrate your wedding just as you have envisioned.
At the right moments, with a subtle nod of agreement between me and the DJ or band, the songs you have chosen for each part of the ceremony will play, enhancing the atmosphere.
Being a lay celebrant is not just about writing and officiating a ceremony with competence and emotion—it also means taking care of you on your big day!
The rite must flow smoothly and be well-guided.
The ceremony itself lasts between 30 and 50 minutes, plus the time for everyone’s entrance at the beginning and the joyful tossing of petals at the end.
