We need to know any directions that will help us find the venue and find the right place to load in our equipment. We’d also need to be informed if there’s a sound limiter in the venue

Yes, we’re completely self contained if is needed. We bring our own PA system to all of our gigs as well as a simple lighting rig.

Yes, we’re happy to play music from Spotify before, after and between our sets. We’re happy to choose the music ourselves or let the client choose the music

I am a electronic musician, with training in conservatories in Uruguay and Argentina. Experience in bands and diverse musical projects. Prolific producer with releases on international labels, he has released more than 100 original compositions in genres such as downtempo, minimal, progressive and techno, resident DJ in FUSION collective and Elektrona Radio. Founder of the radio station "Energía Sonora". Now, dabbling in private parties with a view to discotheques and festivals.

Javier Silva Salgado is a DJ and electronic music producer known as Jasx. His musical journey began in 1996 at the Maldonado Conservatory, where he studied bass and solfeggio. Additionally, he acquired self-taught skills in guitar and percussion under the influence of his musician parents. Subsequently, in 1999, he continued his studies at the Buen Ayre Conservatory in Buenos Aires, specializing in harmony, guitar, and drums.

In 2003, he moved to Japan, where he formed the band "Katarsis" with Eduardo Kunizawa, focusing on instrumental progressive music. He returned to Uruguay in 2007, continuing with the band until its dissolution in 2012. He also participated in projects such as the duo "TEX" with Santiago Beis, blending jazz, candombe, and electronic elements.

From 2012, he joined the band Polaroids as a drummer, recording the album "Caminos." After the band dissolved in 2014, he channeled his creativity into electronic music production.

I normally arrive 2 hours before the performance to set up. I normally perform 2 x 45 minutes or 2 x 60 minute sets. I am happy to play a bit longer or shorter but we’ve found that these set times suit us and our audiences best

I am happy to play outside but we ask for shade, a flat level surface and a power supply close to the performance area.

I can learn specific songs before the event but we usually limit this to 5 songs. The clients are welcome to pick a set list from my repertoire or let me choose the music for them.
