Let me introduce myself

My name is Jasmine but everyone calls me Jaz! And, I am from a tropical town, Cairns, which tends to be quite famous nowadays. However, over the last 18 years I managed to call a few different cities home such as Melbourne, London, Dundee (Scotland), Barcelona, Playa Del Carmen (Mexico), Lismore, Darwin, Perth and now Adelaide.

Most recently, I fulfilled one of my many dreams by buying a van, turning it into a home and venturing from Cairns through the Top End and down the west. In June 2019 I arrived in Adelaide and decided to base myself here.

As for me I am a bit of a traveler, always getting-out-of-my-comfort-zone kind of girl. I am quite happy and at home in the bush, the ocean or climbing boulders as I am in an elegant winery or sipping on a good negroni somewhere nice.

I began my photography journey shooting 35mm and in the darkroom. This provided me with value experience and in-depth knowledge in the medium. I was drawn to photojournalism and the impact photography has in storytelling and evoking emotion. My photography is mastering the “decisive moments” and my business is to ensure everyone is having an enjoyable experience. In my style of photography one can not succeed without the other.

Also, I have quite a few pieces of paper that qualify me for this profession including a Bachelor degree. And, if I could have a drink and conversation with anyone past and present who would they be: past would be Anthony Bourdain and present would be Brazilian photographer Sebastião Salgado.

Reasons for additional costs will be due to extra travel costs, prints or special requests, such as express delivery of photographs. This will be discussed and confirmed during the booking process
