Frequently Asked Questions

What is the best gig you've ever done and the best venue you've ever worked at?

I worked in Hugh Jackman's orchestra on his world tour. Scotiabank Arena in Toronto was so smooth and welcoming, and the audience was on fire.

What's your favourite type of event?

We love all sorts, but cocktail hour at a wedding is where we feel the most at home. Seeing everyone dressed to the nines and feeling so joyful and enjoying the music always makes our day.

What's your previous experience and how did you start gigging?

We started gigging together during our studies in Capilano University's Jazz Studies program, mainly at corporate events, and have never stopped. We've now got nearly 15 years of experience behind us, at recording studios, on stages, at various events and weddings all across Canada.

Which artists have you been most influenced by, who is your favourite artist and what is the greatest song of all time?

John Coltrane is without a doubt the greatest influence on our sound, we've learned a ton from his recordings.
