My name is Joshua Edelman. I am a jazz pianist from New York City currently residing in Bilbao, in the Spanish Basque Country. I have been active on the jazz scene in New York and in Europe since 1976. I have very wide experience as a leader and as a sideman in straight ahead jazz but also in Latin jazz and Latin music more broadly. I have recorded eleven albums as a leader and have collaborated with a long list of jazz and Latin jazz artists.
For Gig Heaven I would like to offer a duo format of piano and double bass playing swinging and bluesy jazz classics in an “old school” style. I can also offer an expert male or female jazz vocalist.
