Hi, my name is John Pagnotta and I’m known in the local music scene as JP. I play sax and flute and my specialty is playing contemporary music with a soulful, jazzy energy. I work as a soloist using pre-recorded backing tracks, in a duo, trio, quartet or larger band setting. I have many years of experience as a soloist and small band leader and many more years experience as a side man.
I play traditional ceremony music and also more contemporary music appropriate for ceremonies; Pachabel’s Canon to Post Malone. I play everything from swinging jazz to R n B classics to the latest pop hit for cocktails. I play easy listening music from the 40s to present time as background music for dinner parties.
