JRQuartet is an ensemble born in the autumn of 2021. The quartet plays contemporary jazz in the ECM style. Combining the typical Slavic rhythms of traditional Polish music with the energy of Mediterranean melodies, the Quartet creates unique atmospheres. "Everlasting Suite" is an original suite composed of three movements that weave a tapestry of distinct motifs, alternating between written parts and improvisations on open structures.
The Jaromir Rusnak Quartet has received numerous prizes, including the Premio del Conservatorio in the IX edition. Comprising prominent professional musicians in the Italian scene, each member boasts a successful career, including awards and many recordings. Our stage experience extends to concerts throughout Europe, giving our ensemble a recognized international reputation.

Jaromir Rusnak, born on November 24, 1996, is a Polish doublebassist, bassist, composer, and arranger
currently based in Milan, Italy. Holding a bachelor's degree from the Cracow Academy of Music and a
master's from the Conservatorio Verdi in Milan, where he studied under Lucio Terzano in the Jazz
Doublebass class, Rusnak's musical journey has taken him across various European countries, including
notable performances at the Cheltenham Jazz Festival in the UK, Open Air Festival, and Tak Brzmi Miasto
in Poland.
With a repertoire spanning pop, jazz, and folk, Rusnak has left his mark as a session musician,
contributing to numerous albums and collaborating with esteemed acts such as Bass Astral x Igo,
Kubaterra, and Kriva Drina. Showing a dedication to originality, he has consistently led his own projects
from a young age, emphasizing innovative composition.
