We will need two outlets and a performance space of at least 15’ x 15’.

We need to know any directions that will help us find the venue and find the right place to load in our equipment. We’d also need to be informed if there’s a sound limiter in the venue.

We bring our own amps, but not lighting equipment or a PA system.

Yes, if we are provided with a PA or speaker system (usually the venue’s in house system), we would be happy to play music before and after sets.

I performed for the Red Rocks “Howl” celebration event, and it was spectacular. It’s a whole different view from the stage!

We love to play weddings, dinners, and private parties. Both ourselves and the guests usually prefer the intimacy of the sound.

We all met in the College of Music (Thompson Jazz Studies) at CU Boulder (SKO BUFFS!), and have been playing together around Colorado ever since!

We are influenced, of course, by the jazz greats, such as John Coltrane, Charlie Parker, Miles Davis, etc. We especially love to break out Coltrane’s “Naima”!

Typically, we will arrive about an hour before the performance to set up. An average set will be around 45 minutes, and we typically do 2-3 sets, though we are happy to go as long or as short as clients would like.

We love to play outside, as we are a Colorado band. All that we ask is for access to power, and a tent/roof to protect the instruments.

We are happy to work some requested repertoire into the set(s), or you can leave it up to us to pick some music that will match the vibe of the event. We ask that clients limit their requests to a maximum of 4 songs.

Previous clients tend to describe our performances as very balanced and fitting. We find our best work is exciting and pleasant to the ears, but not in the way of conversation.
