My name is Jude Potter and I am a singer songwriter in the Charlotte, NC area. I play with mutiple groups/bands and I also play solo shows. I am a piano/keyboard player and drummer. I sing covers and originals depending on the event. I can also just do instrumental jazz or background music. I actively play at churches doing christian/hymns/worship music. I enjoy playing many types of shows including large events with people who enjoy having fun and dancing. Also, more laid-back events when I can just provide a good atmosphere. I also enjoy intimate shows where I can interact with the audience.
I have been playing music for over 10 years since I was young and I have been playing live shows since I was 16. Music has always been a large part of my life and there is nothing I enjoy more than brining joy to an audience and interacting with people through music.
I have been very influenced by soul and Motown players and music as well as Christian artists and classic pop legends. Influences for me include: Billy Joel, Jerry Lee Lewis, Cory Henry, Stevie Wonder, Chris Tomlin and many others.
Yes I am happy to take requests. I cannot guarantee that I can play every request but I will always do my best!
Setup is between 1-2 hours. I can play anywhere from 30 minutes to 3+ hours.
I enjoy performing both inside and outside and my rig is very flexible.
I am happy to work with clients for song requests and playing the exact type of music they want at their event.
Most clients have said that I do a great job of fitting my music, volume, and attitude toward the type of event they are having. They have always been glad with the songs I play, the volume I keep everything at, and the general vibe that I bring to a show.
