Kadak Chai is a South-east-asian rock band based in the Boston area. Kadak Chai performs Indian and Pakistani music from golden oldies to recent hits with an American Rock twist. Our music features a mix of guitar, percussion, rhythms, and layered vocals which is perfect to enjoy, dance, and groove to. We play Hindi, Tamil, Punjabi, Urdu, and English hits from the 60's, 70's, 80's, 90's to today with a rock twist!
Our sessions always start with a dose of strong chai (Kadak in Hindi means strong, hence our name?).
