Kashvita’s s vision of “Getting bigger, better, and & more glamorous and Pushing beyond boundaries”, truly reflect the culture of this legendary organisation. Kashvita has been the launching platform for numerous artists; singers and dancers who have gone on to achieve their own greatness.
Kashvita consists of dancers both male and female that range from ages 2 to 65. Kashvita is run by Kashmira Badal who boasts her own choreography throughout the last almost 19 years. Kashmira is responsible for choreography, training and designs her own costumes. Kashmira teaches dance to pre-schools, and privately on an individual level prepares and grooms young individuals who participate on pageants and other competitions or who just wants to learn a dance or two for their own or some family function. Kashvita has performed on some 2000 events, across the country and Botswana. Kashvita has hosted their own annual trend-setting shows - An Evening with Stars 15 shows, A Tribute to India 11 shows, Guzarish 11 shows and Afsana at the Lyric Theatre in Gold Reef City, Newcastle and Laudium, Pretoria) and at parties, weddings, fetes, benefits, Casinos, government functions, corporate events and is currently teaching physically challenged children, who cannot hear the music to which they actually dance as well as mildly intellectually disabled learners with mild and severe learning barriers. These deaf and mildly intellectually disabled learners made their debut performance on the Country’s most prestigious stage – The Lyric theatre at Goldreef City Casino on Kashvita’s Guzarish in May of 2016. Teaching the deaf to dance has also inspired Kashmira's thesis proposal for her PhD degree in dance. She is currently busy with her PhD degree. Kashmira holds a Masters Degree in Inclusive Education, her dissertation is titled "The role of Bollywood dance to improve academic achievement of learners with mild intellectual disabilities". During the period 2010 to 2016, Kashmira taught Bollywood and contemporary dance at the Oprah Winfrey Leadership Academy for girls.
Over the 2017 Tribute to India 9 show which coincides with Indian Independence, Kashmira trained her entire Academy to perform the National Anthem in sign language – a feat not undertaken previously.
On the international scene, Kashvita has performed with Mukesh Pacholi, Kunal Gangawala, Abhijeeth Savant, Shweta Pandit and re-mix king, Harry Anand. She and her team have performed on many of the country’s most prestigious events, and are passionate about bringing joy to the elderly and helping realise the dreams of both children and adults. They have been committed to supporting the SANBS SAI Centres blood drives, the Lenz FM blanket drives and the Flavours of India and do so with passion.
Today Kashvita Music & Dance Academy, a very progressive entertainment and events management organisation has a compliment of the best dancers and singers who perform at more events than any other individual artist or organisation, most of which are charity and community based. Kashvita also performs at all types of events including weddings, parties, stage shows, outdoor events, workshops, conferences, company and product launches. Kashvita, the only of its kind is a true “One stop-One Solution Event Creation and Management House”, providing an integrated function service and entertainment and allows function hosts to relax and enjoy their own function, while every aspect is being handled professionally, with ease and splendour.
