1. Violin Setup:
Instrument: Acoustic violin
* Balanced XLR standard out jack for direct connection to audio equipment (e.g. PA system, interface, or mixer).
Instrument: Electric violin.
* 1/4” stereo instrument out jack for direct connection to audio equipment (e.g. PA system, interface, or mixer).

2. iPad Setup: for backing tracks
Connection to PA System:
* Via Bluetooth or wired connection (using an audio interface or adapter).
* Wired Connection: due to the inconsistencies of Bluetooth connectivity, it is strongly recommended that a wired connection is available as a backup.

3. Vocal Microphone Setup:
Microphone Type: Standard Dynamic Vocal Microphone (with stand)
* Standard XLR microphone direct connectivity to audio equipment (e.g. PA system, interface or mixer).

4. General Requirements:

Where possible, Katisha enjoys touring a venue prior to performing.

PA system can be provided upon request. Includes bluetooth connectivity and wired microphone.

Spotify music can be played before, during and after performance. Clients may provided the playlist or request a playlist be provided.

One of my favourite performances was getting the opportunity to play with “The Rooftop Express” - a horse stunt team who were featured as the main performers at the Brisbane Ekka Arena Show. As the violinist, I accompanied our singer while watching riders on horseback, trained sheepdogs and actors in period costumes.

I love performing in any and all situations but my favourite thing to do is show people all the amazing, unique, and diverse things a violin can do!

I have been a gigging musician for over ten years and have toured across Australia and in countries around the world. Through touring and partnering with organisations such as The Stairwell Project, Great Barrier Reef Orchestra and Anew Conferences I have shared my music with people in schools, arenas, retirement villages, hospitals, churches, private homes and theatres across Australia.

I have released an EP “Kaleidescope” and a debut album “Home is Not So Far”.

I am influenced by anyone creative and love seeing how musicians through time never fail to make something new and unique.

Live looping artists such as Ed Sheeran and Tash Sultana have been a great inspiration for me.

Katisha is a highly versatile musician and is able to customise her performance to suit a wide variety of events, timeframes, venues and atmospheres.

Yes, provided weather is favourable, Katisha is happy to perform in outdoor venues. However, equipment and instruments cannot be exposed to the elements (rain, intense sun, sand, etc.) so a “wet-weather” backup option is highly recommended.

Katisha reserves the right to decided if weather or outdoor conditions are unfavourable.

Katisha enjoys learning requested songs before the event and is happy to customise her performance. However, she does not take song requests during performance.
