Katy has been performing as a soloist professionally for over 12 years. During this time she has performed at a variety of venues and events and was the winner of numerous awards and competitions. She loves performing at weddings and private events and has also performed at many corporate events, outdoor festivals, hotels, cabaret evenings, golf clubs, care homes and various others.
She has previously worked as a Lead Vocalist for P&O Cruises, for a number of years. She worked on various different ships where she had to learn and perform 11 different shows, as well as her own headline cabaret. She has also had various theatre roles, her favourite being performing at the West End Heroes charity concert in London.
She can perform a wide variety of music genres and themes and is more than happy to personalise her set list to suit any event. She mainly perform pop music from throughout the decades, but she also specialise in Motown and Vintage. Her shows are always professional, not only on the performance side but also with costumes and quality backing tracks, plus full PA and lighting.

My main requirements are to have a parking space as close to the venue entrance as possible, a performance area near a plug socket, and a small table. I also require a suitable room to get changed and store any gear and baggage.
It is helpful to know any directions that will help me find the venue and find the right place to load in my equipment. Also whether there is parking on site or if I would have to find some nearby. I’d also need to be informed if there’s a sound limiter in the venue.
I have my own full PA system, as well as a simple lighting rig, so you are guaranteed a professional show both sound and looks wise.
I can absolutely provide an Ipod/DJ service before and between my sets at no extra charge. I can try and cater this to fit in with your theme or can play a general mix of music - obviously this can be discussed further. I can also offer this service after my final set up until the venue closes, but this will incur an extra charge.
The best gig I have ever done is a concert at the Dominion Theare in London, where I got to sing backing vocals for Michael Ball. The theatre was incredible and the event was for a charity so was very rewarding.
I love playing at all sorts of events but weddings are my favourite! It is so lovely to be a part of someone's special day and everyone is always in such a great mood from the get go. Plus I get to see some absolutely beautiful venues.
I started gigging over 12 years ago, and have worked solo, as part of groups, and with bands throughout the years. Since I started I've performed at hundreds of weddings, parties and events across the UK and internationally.
My two main influences are Whitney Houston and Celine Dion. I think their voices are incredible and the emotion they can invoke through song is amazing. Choosing just one song is nearly impossible, so I will say It's All Coming Back To Me for a power ballad, but a song I include in a lot of my sets is I Wanna Dance With Somebody.
I like to be setup and soundchecked at least 15 minutes before any guests are due to arrive, and I generally take around 45 minutes to an hour to get my gear in and set up. This means I will usually arrive around 1 hour/1.25 hours before the guests are due to arrive, so I have plenty of time. Once I am set up, I can put on a playlist to start creating an atmosphere for people arriving.
For an evening event, my most popular set timings are either 2 x 45 minutes, or one hour straight through. I am extremely flexible with set times and lengths, as every event is unique, and I always strive to work with each client to suit exactly what they want.
I am more than happy to perform outside, but it is important that I have access to an area with cover, as we all know British weather can't be relied on! I will of course still need access to a power supply and it helps to be on a flat surface.
I have a very wide repertoire, so I always encourage clients to take a look and tell me if they have any favourites. Providing there is enough time before the event, I will always try to learn any special requests, but I usually limit this to a maximum of 3 songs.
Previous clients would say that I have a warm personality and a great singing voice, and I add extra magic to their event. They also highlight that my communication leading up to their event is excellent.
I never like to arrive in the clothes that I will be performing in, as carrying and setting up gear can be hard work, and I wouldn't want to ruin or spill on anything. I cater my performance clothing to the theme, and pride myself in having some great dresses and costumes, so I do like to have somewhere to be able to get changed. I also find arriving in every day clothes and then getting changed before I begin singing adds that extra little wow factor!
