We simply require a tuned acoustic piano (ideally a grand piano) in good playing condition, suitable lighting for the performance area, and comfortable seating for your guests.
It would be helpful to know the type and condition of the piano provided, directions for convenient access and loading, details about the venue's acoustics, and any particular sound restrictions.
We don’t provide additional sound or lighting equipment, as performances are acoustic and typically intimate. However, we do expect the venue to provide suitable lighting.
Yes, if you wish, we can gladly provide quiet background music via Spotify before the performance and during breaks. You may select music yourself or trust our tasteful selections.
One of my most memorable performances was at the Salle Cortot in Paris, where the acoustics beautifully carried the delicate nuances of Debussy and Ravel. The intimacy and charm of this historic venue made the experience truly exceptional.
I particularly love performing at private concerts and intimate gatherings. There’s something uniquely rewarding about creating an emotional connection through music in a relaxed, personal setting.
I began my performing career after graduating from prestigious music conservatories in Tokyo and Paris. Since then, I've performed extensively in Europe and Asia.
I have always been profoundly influenced by composers like Claude Debussy, Maurice Ravel, and Frédéric Chopin, who masterfully blend emotion and technique. For me, Debussy's Clair de Lune remains one of the most beautiful and timeless pieces ever composed."
I typically arrive about 30-45 minutes prior to the performance to ensure the piano and the venue are properly prepared. A standard performance is usually one continuous set of approximately 60-90 minutes, but the duration can be customized according to your event.
Yes, I'm happy to perform outdoors, provided there’s adequate shelter or shade to protect the piano from weather conditions, and the area is stable, flat, and acoustically appropriate for an intimate performance.
Clients are very welcome to request specific classical pieces or composers they love, and I’m always happy to personalize the program. Otherwise, I can suggest a carefully curated repertoire tailored specifically to your event.
Clients often describe my performances as moving, elegant, and deeply expressive, highlighting the subtle emotional connection created through each carefully chosen piece.
