I have performed for many VIP guests in the UAE and has been a part of some very memorable events including, The World's Largest Fountain's Guinness Record Attempt, Dubai EXPO 2020, Etihad Arena Shows, Abu Dhabi Grand Prix, Private Events for Ferrari, Platform 9, Metro Music Festival, Dubai Shopping Festivals... as well as live performances on DXB Today T.V. and Dubai Eye Radio Station.
I love to play with my full band at large events where we can engage with the crowd and have everyone singing and dancing along.
I also love playing together with DJs with different styles from lounge to full on party mixes.
After gaining a BA (Hons) degree in Popular Music at Edinburgh Napier University, I made the move abroad to start a successful career playing in five star hotels and resorts around the globe.
I have had the pleasure of entertaining international audiences through my performances in Europe, Asia, Australia, New Zealand, Argentina and the Middle East along with contracts on the 5 star Luxury Cruise Line, Celebrity Cruises. Some of the hotel groups I have performed with include Atlantis, Burj Al Arab, Emirates Palace, Rixos, Grand Hyatt, Park Hyatt, Hilton, Radisson, Jumeirah Group, Caesar’s Palace, Shangri-La, Sheraton, and Marriott Hotels.
My most influential artists have to be Etta James and Whitney Houston, their powerful vocals made me fall in love with blues and soul and since then I have grown to love an eclectic taste in music. I love to perform a versatile repertoire to keep things exciting for myself and the clients.
Normally, depending on the act chosen, I need 1-3 hours for set up, the latter being for a full band with sound check.
Set times can vary depending on the clients needs, but typically for Solo Sax 3x20 mins, Singing/Sax 3x30 and duo - full band 3x30-45mins sets (or equivalent)
Yes, I am always happy to play outside, providing there is shade and sufficient stage/power etc.
Yes, I am happy to learn specific songs, within reason, for the client, with 2 weeks notice, and a max of 6 songs not recognisable to me.
