Kaitseliidu Tallinna Maleva Orkestri Bigband (KLBB) was formed in 2008 as part of the Estonian Defence League. It is a classical big band, promoting swing and jazz music. The big band is led by Peeter Saan.
KLBB is a stylish jazz ensemble perfect for any event and any party with a vintage (but not only ) feel. This band provides the perfect entertainment to give your event a touch of class.
KLBB has a fanstastic repertoire list which includes jazz covers from the BigBand era with well-known jazz dance classic to modern classic mix music for any events.
Our repertoire is wide, we play pieces and arrangements by Duke Ellington, Count Basie, Sammy Nestico, Buddy Rich, Nelson Riddle and other well-known orchestras. We always have the works of our own composers and arrangers Kustas Kikerpuu, Valter Ojakäär, Tõnis Kõrvits, Siim Aimla, Teet Raik, Ülo Mälgand and others on the program.

We need a performance space of at least 8 meters x 5 meters. We require 3 x 13 amp power sockets and 2 parking spaces. We will specify the technical details in the rider.
We need to know any factor that will help us on the venue.
We bring our own small PA system for singers if needed.
We’re happy to let the client choose the music.
We have performed mainly at major events in Estonia, where we have been very well received so far.

Mainly classical big band greats
We normally arrive 2 hours before the performance to set up. We normally perform 2 x 45 minutes sets. We’re happy to play a bit longer or shorter but we’ve found that these set times suit us and our audiences best
We ask for shade, a flat level surface, chairs and a power supply close to the performance area
We usually perform with a pre-agreed plan.
