KNorth is an Indian rock band hailing from Dublin Ireland. The name 'KNorth' short for KumbalamNorth. Kumbalam is a village near Kochi, Kerala, India where one of the lead singer is from and most of the musicians are from Kochi. Formed in 2018 in Dublin and known for the electrifying performances, KNorth has been making waves across Ireland and Northern Ireland for some time.
KNorth's sound can be best described as a fusion of rock and Indian music. Drawing inspiration from Thykoodam Bridge, Guns N Roses, Pink Floyd, the band manages to fuse Western and Eastern influences seamlessly. After successfully completing 30 gigs in 2024 including 7 western gigs in Swords Castle, Howth Maritime Seafood Festival, Swords Christmas Market, Newbridge Demesne, KNorth is looking forward to exciting events next year.
