La Candela (from Spanish, fire or flame) brings the essence of fiery flamenco, Latin jazz, and world music. Established in 2014, by flamenco dancer Ania La Candela, the company has brought many wonderful flamenco shows to the people of Atlanta and beyond. With our unique blend of traditional flamenco rhythms and modern influences, we have been able to bring a truly unique experience that will move your heart and soul. At La Candela Flamenco, we’re committed to promoting flamenco culture and providing opportunities for people to experience the art form first-hand through our performances and educational programming. From small private shows to packed theater concerts, La Candela never fails to ignite the audience with passion and energy.

We need details on equipment load-in, venue capacity, type of flooring, stage availability, and power outlets.
We provide our own PA system, and for smaller venues or intimate audiences, it may be included at no additional cost. Basic lighting can also be arranged for smaller events.
We’re glad to play music from our curated flamenco playlist. While we typically select the music, we’re also happy to accommodate any specific choices you may have.
We performed as a full ensemble at both the Roswell Arts Center and the Edna Boykin Cultural Center, sharing the energy of live flamenco with over 500 audience members.
Performing at events is always a pleasure, but school shows are truly special! The kids’ energy is contagious, and it’s inspiring to see how our performances can make a real impact in their lives.
Since our debut production, Tablao Flamenco, in 2014, we’ve performed actively across the U.S. and internationally at theaters, festivals, weddings, corporate events, libraries, schools, and a variety of community venues.
Our work is inspired by some of our favorite artists, including Javier Latorre, Patricia Guerrero, Juan Parrilla, Vicente Amigo, and the Ballet Nacional de España.
The setup and performance times vary based on the number of performers and client requirements. The standard group performance includes two sets of 50 minutes each, with a 20-minute break in between. Longer performance options are also available. We arrive one hour before the start time for setup and will break down immediately after the performance unless otherwise requested by the client.
We’re happy to play outside but we ask for shade, a flat level surface, and a power supply close to the performance area.
