Laura Sutherland is an experienced, energetic and engaging saxophonist with a versatile range to suit any event! Laura also performs internationally alongside todays leading DJ's and is always able to get a party started with her incredible 'Sax and DJ' performances. Laura also performs with function bands and original bands in London's top venues and has even performed live on Channel 4. Some of her recent clients include Rolex, Madam Tussauds, The Dorchester Collection to name but a few.
Background 'Cocktail' Performance
Laura is an experienced, professional saxophonist available to make your special day that little more special with her sensational solo sets. She can add that touch of class and create the perfect setting for your wedding, private party or coporate event with her solo performance.
A standard performance would be 2 x 45 min sets with a short break in between. Laura provides her own professional PA system with high quality backing tracks. Performing a mixture of jazz, pop, blues, motown, soul and more she can play to suit all tastes. Music can also be played through the system in her breaks. Laura performs with a wireless microphone which gives her freedom to roam whilst playing, making the performance even more entertaining.

Whether it's a club night, wedding or corporate event this is a sure fire way to keep your guests in awe and dancing the night away! Laura can perform with any DJ and performs with a wireless microphone to ensure she can get in the crowd and get everyone dancing!

Laura is happy to play music from Spotify (or other music platform) before, after and between sets. Laura can choose the music or this can be sent by the client.
I usually arrive an hour before to ensure time to set up. Cocktail 'drinks reception' performances are usually 2 x 45 mins or 2 x 1 hour sets, and Sax and DJ sets are usually 3 x 30 min sets. Breaks can be between 15 mins - 30 mins depending on event timings and client preference.
Laura can perform outside, but will need access to a power supply near to the performance area that could be reached with an extension cable.
Clients are welcome to request songs and/or select songs from my songlist. For wedding ceremony performances clients may choose all the repertoire!
