Technical Info

What are your basic technical requirements?

A space 2m x 2m and amp power socket.

What information do you require about a venue?

I need to know any directions that will help us find the venue and find the right place to load my equipment. Also, I would need to know at least a month in advance of any special song requests.

Do you provide sound and lighting equipment?

Amplifier if required

Can you provide a Spotify/DJ service before and between your sets?

N/A

How can I choose between acoustic lever, acoustic pedal, and Electric harp? What is the difference between them?

I could offer an acoustic lever harp, a pedal acoustic harp as well as my pearl white DHC electric harp. The difference between them is first in the size. The pedal harp is the biggest with a height of 180cm and 40kg which is good to be considered if the performance space is small.
Second, if played acoustically the pedal harp has a more powerful sound than the lever one, but all harps can be amplified.
Third, there are different repertoires for the different harps, as the lever acoustic/electric has a much more limited key range.

Performance Info

What are your typical setup and performance times?

I would normally arrive 1 hour before the performance to set up. I normally perform 2 x 50 minutes and a 10-minute break or a 60-minute set.

Are you happy to perform outside?

I am happy to play outside but we ask for shade, a flat level surface and a power supply close to the performance area.

Do the clients have a say in what you play or is it a set repertoire list only?

I will be happy to learn specific songs for the event but we usually limit this to 3 songs. The clients are welcome to pick a set list from my repertoire or let me choose the music for them.
