Based in London, England, Dorothy Harpist provides live, romantic music for weddings and other special events. An award winning harpist and the former resident harpist at the Shangri-la Hotel, Dorothy has years of classical training and performing experience in the harp. For over a decade, her greatest passion has been working with couples to create memories that will last a lifetime through her bespoke wedding harp performances.
From timeless classics by Mozart and Pachelbel to modern smash hits by Ed Sheeran and Taylor Swift, your audiences will be enchanted by Dorothy’s versatile and expansive repertoire spanning an array of musical genres, including classical, jazz, folk, popular songs, Bollywood, Irish music etc. Working closely with your musical taste and preferences, she’ll create a bespoke wedding playlist and performance that align with your unique vision and tell your authentic love story.
She has recently performed at weddings and events at the following venues: The Peninsula, Four Seasons Hotel, W Hotel, Marina Club, Heritage Baptist Church, Berwick Lodge, Gardens of St. Dunstan East, Prestwold Hall, Pelham House etc.
Specialising in harp performance, Dorothy earned her music degree from the Academy of Performing Arts in Prague, Czech Republic and her Licentiate (LTCL) from Trinity College London.
