London Strings’ quartet is available to hire for events throughout the UK and worldwide. Our musicians are of only the highest calibre and professionalism and enjoy busy freelance careers, regularly performing with London’s top orchestras, including the London Symphony, Royal Philharmonic and London Philharmonic. They are all graduates of the best musical establishments, including the Royal College of Music and Royal Academy of Music.

HIRE A STRING QUARTET IN LONDON OR FURTHER AFIELD
Our professional musicians are based in London and classically trained at the best conservatoires in the world. Alongside our busy performance careers, we love to perform at weddings, corporate events and for parties. Although based in London, we are always excited to travel further to play for your event, including internationally. We have performed for weddings in France and Italy.
Reliable, beautifully-presented, stylish, and most importantly excellent musicians, we will organise all the musical side of things for you, leaving you stress-free and enabling you to simply enjoy our string quartet performance for your special day.
WEDDING STRING QUARTET FOR HIRE
Our string quartets would be delighted to perform a special choice of song for your wedding! Usually there are at least three songs you need to choose – one for the bridal entrance, one for the signing of the registry, and one for the exit of the bridal party.
There are a few choices which are very popular with our clients: Pachelbel’s ‘Canon’, ‘Can’t Help Falling in Love’ by Elvis and ‘A Thousand Years’ by Christina Perri (these three are very popular songs for walking down the aisle!) If there is a special song you would like us to play for you, please let us know and we will try to source the music for you. We are happy to play your special request that is not on our repertoire list for free.
We play Bridgerton arrangements as well – always a huge hit!
It’s highly recommended to book our string quartet to perform as the guests are seated for the ceremony, to set the mood and ambience.
For the drinks and dinner reception we have an extensive variety of wonderful string quartet arrangements that, in our experience, have proven to be very popular. We are happy to take some suggestions for background music as well!
London Strings is able to play indoors or outdoors. Please note, for outdoor events we must have shelter provided.
