Lou Sax Young saxophonist: Jazz/Bossa Nova/Pop/Classical/with DJ

Lou is a young artist (15 years old) and she plays alto and tenor saxophone at the Bordeaux Conservatory. This year, she entered S2TMD Music at the Lycée Camille Jullian in Bordeaux, a high school with a “music baccalaureate” specialty.

She’s taking her first steps to become a professional musician. She loves playing for other people!

Lou manages, either in improvisation, or prepared with scores...She is comfortable playing several kinds of music (from classical to pop, rap or house/electro), but above all she has a passion for jazz and bossa nova...

She often plays with a Tomplay application (backing track), with her own amp hardware (good to entertain large groups of people) and saxophone-microphone.

She can perform just by herself, or also with a group or a dj; she's flexible, enthousiast and open to any kind of event and style of event!

Even at her young age, she has a curriculum of musical experiences:

• Several presentations as a “street artist” in Saint-Emilion on the church square and in Sainte-Foy-La-Grande during the Saturday market.

• Classical concerts with his quartet at the church of Saint-Laurent-des-Hommes

• Concerts and solos with the Mozaic Jazz Big Band of Saint-Laurent-des-Hommes

• Several concerts with students from the Bordeaux Conservatory

• She has music "jam" groups with her musical student friends (cello, piano, violin, bass guitar....)

• Private concert for a birthday with 100 guests; for the good cause of the earthquake in Türkiye/Syria

• Private concerts at the restaurant “Au four de la Rive”, Château de Sanse and Château Destinée

• September 22, 2024: On stage at the Théâtre Femina (1,200 people!!): as Jimmy Sax’s special “guest” (Improvizing Ibiza-style party saxophone)

• Requests for musical entertainment for baptisms and weddings in 2025

• Concerts scheduled with the Bordeaux University Orchestra (classical)
