Luís Martelo is a Portuguese Trumpeter based in England, he is a Former Portuguese Army Symphonic Band trumpeter and studied Classical Trumpet at Coimbra’s Music Conservatoire and the University of Évora and with some of the greatest musicians. Luis is a Lecturer that takes part in many Brass conferences for instance Croatia and Portugal and also Teaches Masterclasses paired with his solo tours with his own Band and different orchestras around the world.
Luís records for many artists and movie soundtracks including recently to the Hollywood producer Scott Fivelson. Luís is a Double Silver Medal winner at the Global Music Awards 2022 for best instrumentalist and best band, and in 2021 for best album with “All of Me” in the Jazz category and also Won the Silver Medal as the world’s 2nd best Emerging Artist 2021.
His versatility, unique sound and character make him one of the new generation's most acclaimed trumpeters.
